This Returns and Refunds Policy explains how returns, withdrawals, refunds and exchanges are handled for products purchased from CATENACCIA.

2. CATENACCIA products

CATENACCIA products are handmade non-precious necklaces and jewelry made with beads and components purchased from selected suppliers.

Information about materials is based on the declarations and certifications provided by our suppliers.

Because our products are handmade, each item may show small differences compared to the photos displayed on the website. These differences are not considered defects, but natural characteristics of handmade production, provided that the product received corresponds to the product description.

3. Right of withdrawal

Consumer customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days from the day they receive the product.

If an order includes several products delivered separately, the 14-day withdrawal period starts from the day the customer receives the last product.

If more than 14 days have passed since delivery, we cannot accept a return for change of mind, without prejudice to the customer’s rights in case of defective, damaged or non-conforming products.

4. How to exercise the right of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform us of the decision to withdraw from the purchase by sending an email to:

The email should include:

  • full name;

  • order number;

  • product or products to be returned;

  • a clear statement that the customer wishes to withdraw from the purchase;

  • photos, if the product is defective, damaged or non-conforming.

The customer may use the withdrawal form included at the end of this Policy, but it is not mandatory.

5. Conditions of returned products

To be eligible for return, the product must be returned intact, complete and, where possible, in its original packaging, together with any tags, pouches, accessories or items received with the order.

The customer may inspect the product, but is responsible for any decrease in value caused by handling that is not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.

Returns may be refused, or only partially refunded, if the product is:

  • damaged by the customer;

  • clearly used;

  • incomplete or missing essential parts;

  • altered, modified or repaired by third parties;

  • returned after the applicable deadline;

  • returned in a condition that causes a decrease in value not due to our error.

6. Custom-made or personalized products

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are made to measure or clearly personalized, unless the product is defective, damaged or non-conforming.

This includes, for example:

  • necklaces made in a specific size requested by the customer;

  • products created with colors, beads or components specifically chosen by the customer;

  • jewelry with initials, names, charms or personalized details;

  • products made upon specific request;

  • items not available as standard products in the catalogue and created specifically for the customer.

7. How to return a product

Before shipping the product back, the customer must contact us by email at:

Once we receive the request, we will provide return instructions.

8. Return shipping costs

The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the customer, unless the return is due to our error, or the product is defective, damaged or non-conforming.

Return shipping costs paid by the customer are not refundable.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service. We cannot guarantee receipt of a return shipped without tracking.

9. Refunds

Once we receive the returned product, we will inspect it and notify the customer by email whether the refund has been approved or refused.

If the return is approved, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed with the customer.

In case of withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from the customer, including standard delivery costs paid at the time of purchase, where applicable.

We will not refund any additional costs resulting from the customer’s choice of a delivery method other than the standard or least expensive delivery method offered by us.

The refund will be made without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of the customer’s decision to withdraw from the contract.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or until the customer has provided proof of having shipped the product back, whichever occurs first.

10. Partial refunds

In some cases, a partial refund may be granted, for example if the returned product shows signs of use, damage, missing parts or a decrease in value not due to our error.

11. Defective, damaged or non-conforming products

We replace or refund products if they are defective, damaged or non-conforming compared to the order placed.

If the customer receives a defective, damaged or incorrect product, the customer should contact us as soon as possible at:

The customer should include clear photos of the product, packaging and issue found, so that we can properly assess the request.

If the product is defective, damaged or non-conforming due to a reason attributable to us, return shipping costs will be borne by us.

12. Legal guarantee

Products sold by CATENACCIA are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided by applicable consumer law.

If a product is defective or does not conform to the description, the consumer customer has the rights and remedies provided by law, including, where applicable, repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract.

The legal guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidental breakage, impacts, normal wear and tear, poor storage, contact with water, perfumes, cosmetics, detergents or other substances that may alter the product, unless the problem is due to an original defect or lack of conformity.

13. Exchanges

Exchanges are possible only depending on product availability.

If the customer wishes to exchange a product, the customer should contact us at:

We will confirm whether the exchange is possible and provide instructions.

Any shipping costs related to the exchange may be communicated before the exchange is confirmed.

14. Sale and promotional items

Products purchased on sale or during promotions may be returned under the same conditions provided in this Policy, unless they are custom-made or personalized products.

Promotions do not limit the consumer rights provided by applicable law.

15. Gifts

If the product was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, we may issue a gift credit or proceed according to the arrangements agreed with the customer who placed the order.

If the refund is issued to the original payment method, the amount will be refunded to the person who placed the order.

16. Time needed to receive a replacement product

Depending on the destination, the time needed to receive a replacement product may vary.
